The 5527 global catastrophe was a planetary collision events that occurred in November of that year. It wiped out 90% of the worlds population, and caused all of the volcanoes to erupt with intensities of VEI 9. A 15 km high ultra-tsunami was also triggered, rendering the planet as barely habitable. 29 billion of the 29 billion people living on the planet at the time were killed, just going to prove how bad the event really was. Aftershocks continued for millennia, with 90% of these being above magnitude 4 on the Richter scale.
